Something the togers are doing in Maryborough, for us QLDers especially perhaps to chase up next time, disco is in my friends list, its mainly for togers but outsiders can register. it is full now unfortunately but was good value

DiscO !'s TOG LAN II is:

7th, 8th, and 9th of August 2009.

at the:

WIDE BAY MOTEL AND CONFERENCE CENTRE, MARYBOROUGH QLD 4650.

The server lists will include: CS:S, DOD:S, TF2, L4D, COD4, COD:WAW, UT3, UT2004, Far Cry, Trackmania, and of course the Peggle eXtreme Championships . Anyone is welcome to bring their own server and game list and tap into the core so all games and players are welcome at this epic event.

All meals will be provided during the event including breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. We will be kicking off on Friday the 7th August until the afternoon of Sunday 9th August.

The total cost for the 3 days per person will be $250.00. This includes all meals, accommodation, room hire, security and an extended trading licence on Saturday night. These are NO BYO events as I am a licenced venue and all alcoholic beverages will be sold over the bar. Licencing hours are until 12:00am, but with sufficient numbers I will apply for an extended licence on the Saturday night until 2:00am which must also include a security person on staff for the evening which is mandatory under the Liquor Licencing Law.

Terms of attendance:

1. Be nice to each other, think TOG AUP and all that.
2. This is as much giving as it is receiving, lend a hand.
3. TOG and/or the organisers including the building owner(s) are not responsible/liable for any loss or injury you might incur (unless covered by local laws). If someone steals or breaks your stuff then it's your problem. The police will be called to fix any disturbance.
4. Photo I.D. will be copied with your Alias on arrival to be kept on file to ensure those invited are the only people attending the gaming environment for security purposes.
5. People under the age of 18 will not be admitted into the Conference Centre due to the sale of and consumption of alcohol within the licensed venue.
6. No objectionable material is allowed.
7. We do not promote illegal activities.
8. This is a private LAN, the numbers have been accounted and will be catered for only.
9. Your attendance at the LAN is deemed acceptance of these terms.

o Extension lead 5m or longer

o Cat5 Cable 10m or longer (looms supplied, however spare cables never go astray)
o Camera, batteries and lead
o Mobile phone & charger if necessary
o Toiletries
o Spare clothes
o Water bottle
* Back up critical data the day before.
* If traveling long distances it may pay to remove your graphics card from your motherboard for the journey.

This bus costing is for a 12 seater instead of the 21 seater. If anyone is serious about this then they will need to PM me. I had intended to fly but will look at organising this if we can get 8 people who're interested (without a trailer I see this as the maximum number for comfort). Cut off date will be the end of May if the numbers aren't sufficient.

It's on again. Back by popular demand, .DiscO !'s TOG LAN II. For this one we need some time for people to organise quitting their jobs , relocating or working hard at earning the "Get out of house FREE card" . We have international travellers, inter-state party goers, even local loons , so lets get the ball rolling. There has been talk of group bus travel all the way up the East coast so things are looking good for those who have travel issues. We have heavy vehicle drivers and talks of bus rental, so things are sounding pretty interesting to say the least .
