I see we have an RSS symbol at the bottom of the forum.

I want to know when someone posts on any forum here. Can this tell me this?

If not, I want to know if someone posts on General or Private. Can this tell me this instead?

And how do I do it?

(I use MS Outlook 07 for RSS feeds.)
