Win 7?

Anyone taken the plunge yet?
I have Win 7 Pro 64 running on what was the Vista Ultimate 32 Box. Freak me its quick. Installs for drivers and printers and shit just fly. We get the media license for $25 as a Govt EQ employee. It is by far the best M$ OS to date. Looks like they learnt a lot from the Vista screw ups and the desktop looks so KDE that you can only assume the folks at Novell have had some input after the partnership was forged a few years ago.
A little dissapointed in the memory footprint still hovering over 1GB at idle on a fresh install. Linux wins hands down there. But with the 64 bit at least I get all 4GB RAM and the 1GB graphics card RAM to play with.
But most importantly, it games well and really looks the bomb!
Still using Firefox and Thunderbird, no install issues at all. Even migrating the mail and settings from 32 to 64 was a simple cut and paste. Why do people use outlook? God knows...intergrates with Grandma, the dog and any other thing you can think of, but runs like a pig...Oh thats why we pay for windows in the first place......lmfao..(drink)
