Code of Conduct

INTRODUCTION

One Shot One Kill (OSOK) is an Australian based clan with members from many different states. We started life with the Half Life Modification Day of Defeat, but we have extended our reach to various other games. We choose our members carefully, and value each member for their own unique abilities.

CLAN REGULATIONS

-Selection

Selection to enter OSOK is by trial only. We are not a serious clan as such but we value quality over quantity. Those wishing to join will be evaluated by the whole clan, and judged not only on skill, but also on enthusiasm, teamwork, fair play and integrity.

-Cheating

Cheating will not be tolerated within OSOK.

If a member has been reported for suspicious behavior, he will be under assessment by the rest of the clan until such time as the allegations can be proven or dis-proven.

If it has been proven that the player has been cheating (knowingly), the player will be immediately expelled from the clan, as well as what ever other punishments server administrators deem fit.

If a player has been caught with a cheat on his machine, but has not been using it (only if this can be proven), a suspension of two months (minimum) will be placed upon the player. During this time, the player is not to be included in any clan activities, wars, practices and such. After this time, the player is on probation. If this occurs during and type of competition, and the competition is still running after the suspension period, the player will not be allowed back into the competition.

If a second offence occurs, no matter how minor, the player will be immediately expelled from the clan, as well as what ever other punishments server administrators deem fit.

-Behaviour

Good behaviour is expected of OSOK members at all times. With that said, if any member is found behaving in an abusive manner to any other player, an investigation will be held. If a player has been found to have abused other players (whether by swearing, offensive comments or insults), he will be suspended from the clan for one month (minimum).

-Active Role in the Clan

Members are expected to have an active role in the clan. This includes reading and posting on the clan forums, keeping in contact (via instant messengers or other means) with other members, playing regularly and attending clan gatherings. While it is not always possible to attend every gathering, it is considered polite to inform other members when you cannot attend, as replacements may be required.

-General Fair Play

This is expected, as no one wants to play a game that is unfair and not fun. If you are unsure as to what constitutes unfair play, ask others.

-Have Fun

Remember, it’s just a game!

Have fun, and welcome to OSOK!
